Terms & Conditions

Will You Void My Warranty?

Certain car manufacturers may void warranties on drivetrain components if a vehicle is remapped. This means that turbos, clutches, flywheels, fuel pumps, injectors, and gearboxes may not be covered by the vehicle manufacturer. However, it is illegal in the UK for a manufacturer to void the warranty on the entire vehicle. For instance, if your vehicle is under warranty and the heater stops working, the warranty cannot be voided due to the vehicle being remapped.

Aftermarket Accessories & Warranty

All our parking sensors, immobilisers, and trackers come with a minimum 12-month warranty. If the product fails, we will return to the original installation location and repair the system free of charge. If the installation has been tampered with, the installation warranty will be void. By law, you must allow us up to 14 days to correct any issue related to the product or workmanship.

Please note that we do not cover loss of wages, vehicle recovery costs, or provide hire cars while your vehicle is unavailable. For example, if an immobiliser fails and renders the vehicle immobile, these costs are not covered.

All repairs must be carried out during normal working hours, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Tuning File & ECU Solutions Warranty

We kindly request your understanding that we do not provide any warranty or guarantee for your vehicle. As the owner and customer, you bear full responsibility for your vehicle, including any mechanical or electrical failures that may occur during the programming process, especially if instructions such as not opening/closing doors or maintaining your phone’s Bluetooth connection are not followed. Maintenance and repairs are exclusively your responsibility. Any failure during the tuning process remains your responsibility, as the internal condition of your engine is unknown to us prior to tuning. It is your responsibility to ensure that your vehicle is in a suitable condition for us to perform any work.

As stated on our Performance Remapping page, we conduct pre-health diagnostic checks and logs of your vehicle to identify any obvious potential problems. However, these checks do not reveal internal engine or component wear. We will always inform you of any potential issues we identify so that you can make the necessary repairs. We reserve the right to refuse to tune your vehicle if it is not in a condition suitable for tuning. Additionally, you may be required to complete disclaimers outlining your full responsibility before we commence any work.

All ECO and Performance Remaps, AdBlue removal, and DPF/EGR software modifications are non-refundable, as these are software-based services. We can only correct our work in the event of an error. Please note that we do not cover loss of wages, vehicle recovery costs, or provide hire cars while your vehicle is unavailable.

All repairs must be carried out during normal working hours, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

ECU Hardware Warranty

We offer a lifetime warranty on the software, covering the remap software for the lifetime of your vehicle ownership. If the software becomes corrupt, we will rectify this free of charge. If the vehicle has been to the main dealer and had an ECU software update, we will need to re-read the ECU and re-flash a new file at the original location where the work was carried out, for which there is a call-out and labour charge of £120.

We do not provide any warranty for a damaged ECU due to fire or water damage, as these are beyond our control. All ECO and Performance Remaps, AdBlue removal, and DPF/EGR software modifications are non-refundable. Please note that we do not cover loss of wages, vehicle recovery costs, or provide hire cars while your vehicle is unavailable.

Road Legality

According to the Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations (Regulations 61(7) and 61A(3)) and the Road Traffic Act 1988 (Section 42), it is an offence to use a vehicle on the road if it has been modified in such a way that it no longer meets the air pollutant emissions standards it was designed for. It is also an offence under Section 42 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 to cause or permit a vehicle to be used on the road if it does not comply with legal emission requirements.

As the customer, you accept that any solutions or deletes of emissions-based components are intended solely for off-road and racing use. The responsibility for when, where, and how you drive your vehicle lies entirely with you, including ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Under DVSA regulations, we are obliged to inform you that emissions-based solutions or deletes are illegal to use on UK roads. Furthermore, vehicles brought to us for emissions-based solutions or deletes must be transported to and from our facility on a recovery truck or trailer, as they cannot be driven on UK roads. This also applies to De-cats with pops and bangs calibrations.

Do We Recommend Removing Emission Components from Your Car?

All our EGR, DPF, and AdBlue removal services are designed for off-road and racing use only. We do not recommend or suggest removing these components; it is the owner's choice. A significant number of AdBlue removals are recommended by main dealers due to their inability to fix issues. There has also been a shortage of NOx sensors in the UK, meaning your car could be off the road for months until a part is available. As such, many owners choose the route of emission removal, though we always advise them on the UK road laws regarding this matter.

Payment

All installations require payment upon completion of the work. It is your responsibility to ensure you have a means of payment before we arrive. We do not offer credit to retail or trade customers.

Any agreed credit terms must be paid within 7 days. Any unpaid debt will incur recovery fees and additional interest at the current rate.
