We can tailor your remap depending on the vehicles modifications if needed. By using the best tooling in the industry your vehicle can be tuned in as little as 1 hour!
The difference between Stage 1 and stage 2 remaps?
Stage 1 : This is designed for a car or van with no modifications, we simply recalibrate the vehicle to enhance performance with all its original parts.
Stage 2: Is perfect for cars with modifications such as Exhausts, intakes, intercoolers & sports Cat ( premium 97 / 99 octane fuel MUST be used )
A Stage 1 performance remap, also known as a Stage 1 ECU (Engine Control Unit) remap, is a popular modification among automotive enthusiasts looking to enhance the performance of their vehicles. This type of remap focuses on optimising the engine's performance while maintaining a stock engine setup. Here are some benefits of a Stage 1 performance remap solutions we offer.
Increased Horsepower and Torque: One of the primary goals of a Stage 1 remap is to unlock additional horsepower and torque from the engine. This can result in improved acceleration and overall performance.
Enhanced Throttle Response: A Stage 1 remap can often lead to improved throttle response, making the vehicle feel more responsive and agile when accelerating.
Smoother Power Delivery: Skilled tuners can refine the engine's power delivery, making it smoother and more linear throughout the RPM range. This can enhance the driving experience and reduce power spikes or dips.
Better Low-End Power: In many cases, a Stage 1 remap can improve low-end power, which is especially noticeable during city driving and when pulling away from a stop.
Common questions we often get asked?
Will a stage 1 cause engine damage? All our remap files are provided by premium & experienced file writers, these are completely safe for your engine, however please be aware if your vehicle has worn components a remap will speed up the process of a failing part.
Do you provide an engine & gearbox warranty? We offer NO warranty on engine or gearbox components, we simply cover the software only.
Do you health check my vehicle before a remap takes place? Yes, we carry out a full diagnostic scan before hand, however we can't see wear and tear on internal engine components such as turbo shaft wear, injector wear, piston wear, clutch wear, flywheel wear and other main components.
Would you recommend a remap on a high milage vehicle? We have remapped many high milage vehicles without issue, but please be aware components are more likely to be worn such as the clutch for example as such this could slip with the additional torque.
Do I need to keep up with servicing work? In order to keep the vehicle in good health you MUST have your vehicle serviced yearly or more if you clock up huge milage throughout the year.
Do I need to tell my insurance? Yes, any modification to your vehicle must be disclosed to your insurance.
Will I be able to handle the additional power? Every driver is unique and some can handle cars better than others, as such care must be taken on the public highways / UK roads, we hold no liability for loss of control or damaged caused by careless driving.
Our Stage 1 & 2 Remap service is for engine performance calibration only / any additional requirements are optional extras such as ( Adblue, DPF, EGR off )
