We installed these in the standard black trim giving a fantastic sleek appearance. Once the reverse gear is selected the sensors automatically become active meaning there is no input from the user / customer required. These sensors are fantastic quality and start detecting objects up to 1.5 meters away.
With the excellent detection range you can rest assured you will be alerted of any objects in your path. When you start reversing the sensors will start beeping faster and faster the closer you get near an object. The sensors will emit a constant tone when you are 12 inches away from an object.
The parking sensors don’t require any maintenance other than to keep the sensor heads clean in the winter months. This can be done with a soft microfiber towel or sponge. It is never a good idea to pressure wash sensor heads directly this also the case if you already have factory fitted parking sensors on another vehicle.
