Renault Trafic fitted with high spec Thatcham deadlocks. These locks are mounted nice and high to try and eliminate door bending and door peeling with these trafic and vivaro vans being targeted all the time it makes sense to get van locks installed. They are normally attacked by drilling a hole in the rear door to gain access to the original lock motor / door catch. They flick the internal door catch with a screw driver to simply pop the door open. Thatcham deadlocks put up an excellent fight when they are under attack by keeping the top part of the doors close together when thieves are trying to bend them apart.
These locks come with the anti drill pins meaning they can’t be drilled out like the cheaper deadlocks. All the brackets and fixings are designed with the exact vehicle in mind meaning a nice neat installation. These deadlocks also come with 3 keys in total meaning you have spares, you only require one key to lock / unlock both locks due to them being keyed alike on your vehicle.
