The owner of this Renault Clio attempted fitting his own sub & amp, sadly when the system was being installed it caused an issue with the ABS system and the ABS light was remaining on. We sorted the issue and fully reset the ABS light using diagnostics. Once the ABS issue was resolved we then moved onto correcting the sub & amp installation by fully removing all the wiring from the headunit to the rear of the vehicle along with the power & ground cables. We then inserted the fuse within the engine bay and run the wire correctly through the original grommet to the rear of the vehicle.
The looms were run perfectly behind the original vehicle trims giving a nice sleek install and excellent reliability. Once complete the sub and amp sounded perfect. This is a perfect example of why you should have a professional fit your sub and amp. The slightest voltage spike or fuse popping can mean your car will be off the road for days.
