This is a great add on for any remap on a Audi, BMW or VW automatic gearbox. We can offer a gearbox TCM tune which allows faster and smoother gear changes, increased clamping force and unlocks additional torque which is normally limited by the Auto gearbox. Having a gearbox tune really does change the way the vehicle feels when driving quickly, when you have the paddle shift fitted to the steering wheel for example and you want to change gear as quickly as possible and a remap of the gearbox ecu will allow 20% faster shifts.

All our gearbox TCM remaps are done by the best in the business known as Avon Tuning. How does a gearbox remap work? We remove the original file in the TCM, upload the original file to Avon Tuning and they work their magic and return the modded file and we upload it back into the TCM module. This is a great add on if you are having a remap and want the best from your vehicle.
