DB Vehicle Electrics carried out a Cobra Thatcham Approved alarm installation on a Fiat Ducato 2013. This Cobra alarm works by being linked into the vehicles data system. When you press lock on your Fiat remote control the Cobra Thatcham approved alarm system will arm and when you press unlock the system will turn off. This makes the installation very sleek. The only parts you see are the LED ‘ in the picture above ‘ and the small grey ultrasonic sensors which match your vehicles headlining perfectly. Many customers wouldn’t even know they have been fitted after the vehicle has been made.
The Can-Bus alarm system features protection for your front doors, sliding side door, and rear barn doors. it also offers interior protection which is covered by ultrasonic sensors. Any breaking of windows or movement will instantly trigger the alarm. The system also features a bonnet pin meaning if the bonnet is opened when the alarm is active the alarm will instantly sound.
